Farms & Gardening

We’re passionate about connecting the people we serve with healthy fruits and vegetables. Our urban garden and partnerships with local farms help us to bring high-quality produce to our neighbors.

From local farms to tables in need

We partner with local farms to provide high-quality produce to low-income individuals and families. These partnerships are essential to ensuring that those facing hunger are getting the nutritious food they need for their health and wellness, while also supporting local agriculture and economies.

Food bank garden

We maintain a half-acre urban garden that helps us teach our partners and the community members how to grow a garden and stretch their food budgets. From planting to nurturing to harvesting, our garden allows others to experience the joy of growing delicious food.

Our Local Farm Partners

The food bank is proud to partner with a variety of local farms to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to the people we serve.

Urban Demonstration Garden

You don’t have to live outside the city to grow a garden. Our urban garden program will teach you about gardening in a hands-on way.

If we decide to eat healthy on a regular basis, I believe we wouldn’t have a lot of the health issues we have. And food just tastes better when it comes right out of the field.
