You Can Make a Difference: Host a Virtual Fundraiser

Hosting a virtual fundraiser is an easy way to rally your family, friends, colleagues, and other community members to help feed our neighbors in need.

Whether you’re collecting contributions individually or as part of a group through your company or another organization, every dollar you raise can provide two nutritious meals!

Creating your fundraiser page takes just 5 minutes. Plus, it’s easy to personalize and share with others via social media and email.

Download our virtual fundraiser toolkit to engage your network and keep up the motivation to feed our neighbors in need!

Fundraising Inspiration

A virtual fundraiser supporting the Capital Area Food Bank can turn any moment into an opportunity to provide meals for your community.

Holiday Campaigns

Holidays of all kinds offer great opportunities for your family or even your congregation to fundraise. With food at the center of so many holidays, hosting a virtual fundraiser can help ensure that others in our community can celebrate too.

Temple Sinai’s fundraiser during the Jewish High Holy Days raised more than $33,000 and put a spotlight on hunger in our region.

Celebrations

Whether you’re marking a birthday, graduating from college or getting married, celebrate by asking friends and family to donate in your honor.

To celebrate their fourth anniversary, the Jordan River Ministry asked their community to raise $1,000 in support of our neighbors in need!

Group and Club Campaigns

Engage your club, or link your group event to a fundraiser. From sports teams and book clubs to alumni associations and much more, rallying your group around a common cause is a great way to bring people together.

Check out how the Good Witches of Alexandria turn a Halloween-inspired bike ride into thousands of dollars supporting our community each year.
