You're invited to join us at our Northern Virginia facility this Spring!
The Capital Area Food Bank warmly invites you to attend a breakfast with Chief Advancement Officer Abby Fenton on Saturday, April 26 at 9:00am. Following breakfast, Abby will answer your questions about how we distribute the food for 60+ million meals annually across the entire DMV, providing more information about our expanded services in Virginia this year. Afterwards, we’ll convene as a group to sort food donations on a conveyor belt from 10:00am – 12:00pm. You’ll have the option to tour the facility with Abby from 12:00 – 12:30.
To RSVP, we ask individuals to RSVP to events@capitalareafoodbank.org by April 21st. Space is limited to 25 due to capacity constraints for volunteer shifts. RSVPs will be accepted until all spaces are filled. We kindly request that only children 12+ volunter alongside a parent/guardian.
