About
The Regional College Hunger Conference (RCHC) convenes higher education leaders and subject matter experts to discuss best practices and innovative ways to support college students experiencing food insecurity. First established in 2022, the annual conference offers attendees the opportunity to learn what other institutions in the region are doing to address food insecurity and connect with peers in similar roles. Past conferences have offered sessions about inclusive pantries, fundraising, advocacy, addressing student needs holistically, and more.

Agenda
This Year’s Theme: Building and Scaling Resilient Programming
The landscape of higher education and food access programming naturally experiences systemic changes, some larger than others. This year, college hunger experts are anticipating increased demand for food resources, even while threats to funding for tuition and a range of basic needs loom. Now more than ever, food access programming needs to grow in impact and resiliency to ensure the well-being and success of college students. This year’s conference will focus on empowering case studies and useful insights that will contextualize college hunger in the current moment and examine ways to scale services sustainably by utilizing on-campus champions and community allies.
Session Themes:
- Leveraging external partnerships to augment programming
- Leveraging internal partnerships for program funding
- Centering student voice to increase impact
