Labor Day weekend may have marked the end of summer for some folks, but for Capital Area Food Bank staff, it marked the beginning of Hunger Action Month. Symbolized by the color orange, Hunger Action Month involves a series of events throughout the month of September that encourages people nationally to speak out against hunger. CAFB staff kicked off Hunger Action Month by participating in Go Orange day, which encouraged people to wear orange and speak out for the 49 million Americans struggling with hunger.
