Once again, Kendra Rowe Salas deserves our congratulations. Director of Food for Kids at the Capital Area Food Bank, Kendra has just been selected for the Nonprofit Roundtable’s 2012-2013 class of Future Executive Directors Fellows. She will be one of 25 fellows participating in a yearlong program that shapes future leaders.
In May, Kendra was appointed to DC Mayor Vincent Gray’s Healthy Youth and Schools Commission. Established by the Healthy Schools Act of 2010, the commission will advise the Mayor and DC Council on health, wellness, and nutritional issues affecting children and schools in the District.
The Capital Area Food Bank is being well represented by Kendra.
