The holiday season is fast approaching and record numbers of families, children and individuals are struggling just to get enough food to eat. To make sure the holidays are special for everyone, the Capital Area Food Bank is again teaming up with WHUR-FM, Giant, SunTrust and Verizon for the annual Food 2 Feed Drive.
Bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations on November 17, from 6 AM – 6 PM, to the Old Post Office Pavilion and see your favorite WHUR broadcaster. If you can’t make it down to the Pavilion, you can call the Food 2 Feed phone bank at 202.216.9142.
