Gardening offers a chance to connect with the earth, while also empowering people to grow the nutritious foods they need to thrive.

Fresh produce is essential to a healthy diet, no matter where you live. At our half-acre Urban Demonstration Garden, community members get a hands-on opportunity to learn how to grow fruits and vegetables and how to use those skills to grown their own food, whether they have access to a backyard garden plot or a small container on a windowsill.

Whether you’re just getting started or are an experienced gardener, we provide educational resources for all experience levels and types of gardening. From seeding to nurturing to harvesting, the garden allows community members to experience the joy of growing delicious foods while gaining an appreciation for the important role it plays in our health.

All produce harvested from our garden is donated to the community.

Help Our Garden Grow

To keep our garden going strong, we need the generous donations of people like you. Not only will your gift help us to grow our fruits and vegetables—and help us teach others how to do the same for themselves—but every unrestricted dollar you donate can help us provide 2 meals to those in need.
