It’s the 25th anniversary of the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! The food bank hosted a kickoff at its distribution center, and we’re encouraging the community to provide donations by their mailboxes on Saturday, May 13.

A donation of leafy greens from BrightFarms made Earth Day a little fresher for lots of families in our area.
“Hunger happens 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—but giving by the community is often highest between Thanksgiving and New Year’s,” said CAFB President and CEO Nancy E. Roman. “So Feds Feed Families helps us get the resources our neighbors need, when they’re needed.”
Fast forward a week to yesterday afternoon, when I found myself walking the aisles of our distribution center with the 60 members of the sweetgreen team who had come to volunteer.
Over the years United States Postal Service has seen many transformations. However, one thing remains constant.
It may not feel or look like spring, but daylight savings is just around the corner.
It’s not too late to support the 27th annual Harvest for the Hungry Spring Forward Food Drive!
Our neighbors in need depend on our help. And our dedicated employees won’t let the c-c-cold temperatures hold them back.

As temperatures continue to climb, flowers bloom and pollen covers our cars, many are taking advantage of the spring weather to focus on fitness!
