On behalf of the Capital Area Food Bank, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the TD Charitable Foundation for its very generous donation of $25,000. This donation will help the CAFB provide around 75,000 meals to the neediest among us in the Washington metro area during this holiday season.
A group of representatives from one of TD Bank’s Washington, DC branches came out to the food bank on the morning of November 8, 2012 to present a check and to volunteer in the Bedford Falls Foundation Distribution Center.
Thank you to everyone from TD Bank and the TD Charitable Foundation for helping to nourish our neighbors in need. Thank you for joining us in our mission of feeding those in our nation’s capital who are struggling with hunger. With your help, we will continue to work tirelessly ‘til no one is hungry.
