Join us on Friday, September 24th, for the 2010 Northern Virginia Hunger Summit! This year’s summit will feature “Applying Bridges Concepts,” the follow-up session to the previously featured “Bridges Out of Poverty,” an interactive seminar on the essence of generational poverty. This year’s day-long session will focus on using Bridges concepts to assist clients from poverty and will explore mediation skills, relationship-building, and mentoring. In addition, the session will introduce strategies for changing program designs, policies, and procedures to improve client outcomes. This is a must-attend event for social service professionals and volunteers.
