For every dollar that is donated, 92 cents goes directly to feeding people in need. That means that last year we were able to feed more than 383,000 hungry stomachs. And as the down economy continues to affect more and more area residents, our 700 area partner agencies, including food pantries, day care and recreation centers, senior centers, faith-based organizations, homeless shelters and soup kitchens, are asking for more help than ever before.

In our service area, fifty percent of adults are actually skipping meals because they can not afford food. Whether it is with your time, by making a monetary donation, or through organizing a food drive, you have the power to help fill empty plates and empty stomachs. With your help we are able to move people of all ages away from hunger and toward a better tomorrow.
