History
The Capital Area Food Bank completed its seven-year ’Til No One Is Hungry capital campaign for a new warehouse in November of 2010, having raised $37 million from a variety of public and private sources. Construction of the new facility, located at 4900 Puerto Rico Street, NE Washington, DC, is underway and scheduled for completion in 2012. Over time, the warehouse will enable the CAFB to significantly increase its food distribution, and to provide enhanced nutrition and education services.
