Ending Hunger Through Education, Skill Building, and Advocacy

Welcome to Operation Frontline at the Capital Area Food Bank!
Operation Frontline provides hands-on cooking, nutrition and financial management education to various communities throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. The interactive class series helps families with limited resources make healthy meals at home, using a wide variety of foods that are commonly available in stores and from emergency food providers. Instructors teach lifelong cooking skills, practical nutrition information and food budgeting strategies that participants can use right away and take into the future.
